Our Team

Christopher Cameron

Christopher worked as a Sustainable Preservation Specialist at the Image Permanence Institute (IPI) for 9 years. During this time, he assisted over 60 institutions with projects ranging from evaluating collections environment and mechanical systems to establish environmental monitoring programs. He has hosted workshops on sustainability in cultural institutions and delivered webinars on a broad range of topics. 

 

Prior to working at IPI, Christopher worked for over 12 years as a facility manager for a major real estate corporation. He is a Certified Project Manager and is trained in HVAC refrigeration. Recently he became a Certified Energy Manager. 

 

Christopher has the perfect blend of institutional experience as well as facilities experience necessary to make educated recommendations based on a facility's needs. He has a passion for the cultural heritage preservation and believes that any institution, no matter how big or small, can have a significant impact on our carbon reduction.

Sarah Freshnock

Sarah works as a preventive conservator to provide context driven sustainable preventive conservation solutions for collections of all sizes. She received her M.S. in Art Conservation focusing on preventive conservation from the Winterthur-University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation.

 

Sarah is a member of the American Institute of Conservation, the Project Support Specialist for the Preventive Care Network, an active member of the Materials Working Group Oddy Testing subgroup, and a contributor to the MuseumPests Working Group.

Prior to specializing in preventive conservation Sarah spent time executing paper, objects, and monumental outdoor sculpture treatments. She brings her knowledge of materials into each survey, housing project, and gallery/storage design project.

Sarah has worked for institutions, artist foundations, historic homes and properties, and regional centers. She is passionate about environmental monitoring and using data to inform a preventive conservation practice that strives to be environmentally and institutionally sustainable.
